TIANQIU (also branded TMMQ) builds button (coin) cells as its core category, alongside cylindrical, lithium-ion and speciality batteries. We are a battery ODM / OEM manufacturer covering R&D, design, production, sales and service, exporting to dozens of countries and supplying several international brands on a private-label basis.
By the early 1990s TIANQIU batteries had already built a brand presence in button cells at home and abroad. In 2003 we partnered with Japan’s SOXEY to launch one of China’s first high-grade silver-oxide button cells, and in 2004 we signed with Mitsubishi to become their exclusive agent for mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. The Dongguan button-cell plant, TIANQIU Industrial Park and the TIANQIU Energy Industrial Park followed, forming today’s manufacturing base.
The TIANQIU / TMMQ trademark is recognised under the Madrid system and protected in convention countries including the United States, Germany and Japan. The company is also a National High-Tech Enterprise, a Guangdong Famous Trademark holder and a standing council member of the China Battery Industry Association.
The TIANQIU Energy Industrial Park in Machong, Dongguan is our main production base, with more than 50 automated lines running hundreds of millions of cells per month.

Private label
Building on its button and cylindrical cell manufacturing, TIANQIU has invested in lithium batteries since the R&D centre was established in 2012. The portfolio now spans lithium-manganese button cells, lithium-ion packs and motive LiFePO4 packs for consumer, mobility and storage applications.
TIANQIU operates the TIANQIU Engineering Technology R&D Centre (a postgraduate internship base for Guangdong University of Technology) and works with the Guangzhou South China New Energy Research Institute, retaining professors from South China University of Technology, Sun Yat-sen University and Guangdong University of Technology as technical advisers.
